Series 4 2005 to Series 4 2006

General Information

1 Candidates must check with their Examinations Centres for the registration closing dates which at overseas Centres may well be earlier than the dates of the Board’s entry requirements.

2 Oral Tests for English For Business (EFB) and English For Commerce (EFC) are not scheduled.  Centres may hold these Oral Tests on any date, preferably before the relevant written examinations so that oral results may be sent to the Board together with written examination scripts.  Oral Tests must be taken within 12 months of the written paper to be included on the certificate.  Results cannot be issued until oral results have been received.

3 UK Centre entries must be received by:

       Series 4 2005      -      03 October 2005

       Series 2 2006      -      03 March 2006

       Series 3 2006      -      24 April 2006

       Series 4 2006      -      06 October 2006

4 EC/European Centre entries must be received by:

       Series 4 2005      -      23 September 2005

       Series 2 2006      -      24 February 2006

       Series 3 2006      -      14 April 2006

       Series 4 2006      -      22 September 2006

5 All other overseas Centre entries must be received by:

       Series 4 2004      -      15 August 2005

       Series 2 2006      -      13 January 2006

       Series 3 2006      -      10 March 2006

       Series 4 2006      -      18 August 2006

Timetabled Dates

All timetabled examinations must take place on the dates shown.  In Centres where candidates are unable to sit an examination on the timetabled date, the Centre should, where applicable, request from EDI Customer Delivery, an On Demand examination.

Results

Results are issued ‘online’ eight working weeks from the last date of the timetabled examination.  Result slips and certificates are issued for receipt within twelve working weeks.
